Year of the Fire Horse

February 17th is Chinese Lunar New Year. As we shed the year of the wood snake and all it brought forth, we welcome the energy of the fire horse- its freedom, new beginnings, momentum, and passion as a new path opens.

I invite you to join me in celebration of the lunar new year and the fire horse with 2 upcoming events-

Each year brings the energy of one of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac and one of the five elements. Understanding these energies can help guide you as you set intentions and move through the year. I’ll share with you the energy that we leave behind with the wood snake and the energy that comes with the fire horse. We’ll drum and meditate as we connect with the energy of the fire horse. Then we’ll embody the fire horse energy with qigong.

A moment to begin again and set intentions. A Chinese new year wellness gathering designed to help you step out of urgency and into intention – guided by seasonal rhythm and ritual. This experience includes: guided meditation and intention setting, mala making, and gentle qigong movement with seasonal wisdom. This event is hosted by Bodiscience Wellness Center & Spa and I’ll be offering a 15-20 minute gentle qigong.
