If you’ve ever considered trying tai chi, now’s the time! Join our group of beginner students and learn the basic principles of tai chi plus the first few moves of the yang style short form. This style is widely practiced in the U.S. as well as China and all over the world. It comes from a longer, more martial set and was created for health and longevity. While martial applications still apply, the primary focus and benefits are healthier body, mind, and spirit. Balance, coordination, rootedness, strength, and inner calm are a few of the many benefits you’ll feel when practicing tai chi.
I’ve been teaching tai chi for almost a decade and continue to learn through workshops, classes, and listening to my body as I practice. I’m happy to share this beautiful and highly beneficial movement form with you, details are below. Class space is limited so please register soon. To secure your spot, click on this link to register.
If you have questions, please email me at En*****************@***il.com. The most common Q I get is, “What do I wear?” Please wear clothing that you’re comfortable moving around in. Layers are a good idea as some people warm up when they start moving their Qi! Please wear socks and comfortable shoes like sneakers. You don’t need much tread, in fact it’s often better with less tread for pivoting.  Our facility does not allow outdoor shoes so please wear indoor only shoes over socked feet, I recommend a flexible shoe like a sneaker over a stiff hiking shoe, birkenstock, or clog but whatever’s most comfortable for you is the way to go.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing tai chi with you,
Suzanne
